The climate here in Austria is moderate and makes Vienna a year round location. Summers are very pleasant with temperatures ranging between 20°C and 30°C and in winter temperatures average around 0°C.

You can choose between a Residence, host family, apartment or hotel accommodation year round. Student residences are available in summer. The quality of our accommodation is checked regularly.
 Your acommodation will be reserved from sunday before the beginning of your course (12 a.m.) until saturday after the end of the course (11 a.m.). You can choose during the whole year between guest family, apartment, residence or hotel. Acommodation in a student's residence is possible from july to september.
Guest family
You stay with a host family in their own home. Host families can be childless couples, parents with schoolchildren or older people whose grown-up children have already left home. Accommodation in host families is definitely the best way of practising your German and getting to know Austria and its people outside of the classroom.
Meals: You may choose from use of the kitchen, substantial breakfast only or half board with a three-course lunch or evening meal.
Facilities: You have your own single or twin room. You share the bathroom and the kitchen with your host family.
Apartment
You are accommodated in a well-maintained flat, often shared with other students.
Meals: The use of kitchen is included in the price. The flat contains all the usual utensils and crockery.
Facilities: Single or double rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. Most flats are also equipped with their own washing machine and TV.
Student residence
You have your own room in a student residence with a favourable location.
Availability: July, August, September
Meals: There is a kitchen where you can use the hotplates and refrigerator free of charge – in summer, students need to bring their own crockery and utensils. You can also choose breakfast or half-board.
Facilities: Single or Twin rooms. Most rooms include a shower, toilet and telephone.
 Student residence 16-19
Students aged 16 and above who wish to spend their summer in Vienna in the company of people of their age group are welcome on our Courses for Adults. The Student Residence for 16-19 year olds offers a young and international atmosphere in the heart of Vienna.
Availability: July - August
Meals: Breakfast and dinner (half-board) are available in the restaurant of the residence.
Facilities: Shared rooms (2-3 beds) with a shower, toilet and telephone.
Hotel
You stay in a neat and well-kept 3-star hotel or 4 star hotel.
Facilities: Single or Twin rooms with bathroom, TV, and telephone. Breakfast is available for an additional charge.
