Our German language school in Munich is located in the western portion of downtown Munich, in the Neuhausen district. The location is central and yet quiet. Our school of German is very easy to reach using public transportation and is only approx. 10 minutes from the central station.

Located nearby are not only such tourist attractions as the Olympic Park, Nymphenburg Palace and Munich’s largest beer garden, the Hirschgarten, but also institutions such as the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the German Heart Center.

Our school has more than 10 seminar rooms and a media resource center with extensive multimedia materials for self-instruction. Vending machines with hot and cold drinks, along with a cafeteria offering small meals and drinks, look after the creature comforts of those involved in the language course.

We organize our lesson plan in the form of group or individual training, as general or field-specific language training, and as a testing center we offer you recognized certificate exams such as the TestDaF, Zertifikat Deutsch, PWD, and Test WiDaF.

Munich & Freetime activities

Munich is he metropolis with a heart ranks among Germans’ favorite places to live and work. The capital of the German state of Bavaria is Germany’s third-largest city with around 1.3 million inhabitants, a bustling business metropolis and an important university city ranking high on the leisure scale.

Munich is home to the largest festival in the world, the Oktoberfest; it is home to the world’s most famous inn, the Hofbräuhaus, and here the world-famous English Garden invites athletes, idlers and sun worshippers to linger a while. But above all, Munich is also a magnet for international visitors: For many foreign guests, the city of leisureliness and joie de vivre is the embodiment of Germany itself.

Every visitor succumbs to the charm of the heartfelt folksiness and the lively spirit of the modern, and in the beer garden, to the sounds of brass musicians and the joys of veal sausage and pretzels, the visitor has a feeling of coming quite close to unlocking the secrets of the cozy German atmosphere.

Elegant boulevards, high-caliber museums, noble historic monuments – this, too, is Munich, and when the panoramic Alps make their appearance on a clear day, one can certainly understand that many refer to the Bavarian metropolis as Italy’s northernmost city.

Munich’s special features continue even beyond the city’s boundaries: The Upper Bavaria region is known as a cultural and natural landscape rich in tradition, home to mountains and lakes, castles and monasteries.

Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles, The Abbeys at Ettal and Andechs, Germany’s highest mountains, Zugspitze and Watzmann, Lake Chiemsee and Lake Starnberg – all of these are to be found within a 60-mile radius and are but a few of the countless places of interest offering themselves for excursions into the countryside surrounding Munich.

Near our German language school in Munich you will find snack booths, the canteens of several government agencies, and educational facilities such as the refectory at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. So for those who prefer not to prepare their meals at the Guest House and who have not made full board arrangements with a host family, there is a range of ways to find a reasonably priced noonday meal.

And for those who would like to try Bavarian fare, there are numerous Munich inns and beer gardens offering lots to discover: try specialties such as Obatzda (a spread of camembert, onions and spices), Weißwürscht' mit Brezen (a Bavarian sausage specialty with sweet mustard and fresh-baked pretzels) or roast pork with dumplings and red cabbage. Your outing into Bavarian cuisine is rounded off with a liter (approx. one quart) of beer or a Radler (beer mixed with lemonade).
