Our German courses in Regensburg run from Monday to Friday (except public holidays) and the number of classes per day depends on the type of course you choose.

Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced in teaching German as a foreign language. Our teaching methods and materials are regularly updated, ensuring that our students receive the education and training they deserve.

Our offerings include courses of continuing education for working people, business firms, organizations, students and private individuals, in German as a foreign language and in other foreign languages in demand.

You can choose between:

Course 20h
20 classes per week (à 45 minutes)
This course is offered throughout the year at all levels. In order to make noticeable improvement, we would recommend a 4-week stay at least. However, you can opt to stay 2 or 3 weeks.
For the purposes of the visa,our standard course is treated as an intensive course as the extra afternoon classes (on phonetics,history etc.) are counted as an integral part of the course.
The main goal of our classes is to improve your communication skills; this means that we will give you many opportunities to speak in class. We train your listening comprehension skills with special exercises and you will have the chance to improve your powers of expression in written German. Working in small groups (average 8, max. 10 people, July & Augst), you will quickly make progress in German.

Course 30h
30 classes per week

We recommend this course for those who want to learn very quickly. It includes the Standard/General language course in the morning plus 10 lessons in a mini-group (2 - 4 people). If you are the only student of your level to take an intensive course, you will get 5 individual lessons per week instead.

In the afternoon classes you decide on the contents, topics and exercises and the teacher will be able to help you individually. Afternoon classes are so arranged (10 classes on 4 afternoons) that you can participate in the leisure programme.

TestDaF - DSH (Exam Preparation Course)
4 weeks, 20 classes per week, required level: intermediate

All foreign students who wish to study in Germany must take the DSH or TestDaF, and this course specifically targets it. The topics and exercises are geared to the particular style of question in this exam.

One-to-One Courses
Times, number of hours, duration of the course and its contents are designed according to your wishes.
The most effective way of learning a language is an individual course. The teacher considers your specific needs (grammar, conversation, phonetics, correspondence, making telephone calls, discussions, ...).

Course 20+5h or Course 20+10h
20 classes General language course + 5 or 10 individual lessons per week
Translation, specialized languages (business, tourism, flight attendants, secretary, …).

Business German
30 classes per week (20 classes in the General Language Course and 10 classes specialized language in the afternoon);
required level: intermediate.

For people working in the business and financial areas and for students in those same areas. Contents of specialized classes are:

  * Correspondence   * Buying and selling   * Job applications   * Making telephone calls   * Marketing, Export, Trade fairs  * Service sector  * Financial system, banks, insurances  * Types of companies  * The German system of trade  * Special characteristics of the German market  * Personnel management.

German for Tourism
30 classes per week (20 classes in the General Language Course and 10 classes specialized language in the afternoon); required level: elementary 3

Contents of specialized classes are:
  * oral communication  * restaurant  * room service  * travel agents  * tourist information  * exhibitions  * written communication:  * correspondence  * reservations
  * queries and complaints
Other contents by arrangement.
 

Literature Courses
30 classes per week (20 classes in the General Language Course and 10 classes literature; required level: intermediate)

For everyone who is interested in German Literature.
Content: German Literature from the baroque period to the present day.
The characteristics of the various periods are highlighted through sample extracts. You will quickly get an overview of the History of German Literature and can refresh your knowledge for examination purposes.
