>> THE LANGUAGE COURSES

In our language school in Heidelberg it is possible to choose between intensive courses and private lessons. The intensive courses are courses for groups with 20 or 30 lessons per week.

The small groups consist of 6-10 participants and are offered in up to 8 different course levels. It is also possible to combine different courses.

All courses are offered during the whole year, additionally we offer summer courses for children and young people (7 - 15 years) with a varied leisure programme.

The focus areas of the courses - depending on the course level - are as follows:

* buildup and development of communicative abilities
* improvement of the oral and written expressiveness
* development of the listening and reading comprehension
* grammar
* improvement of pronounciation
* regional and culture studies

>> LEVELS

Our language school in Heidelberg offers all course levels durring the whole year: starting with a total beginner course and ending with the perfection level. The indications of level of all our courses are oriented at the European frame of reference. This way, after the level test homogeneous learn groups can be built so that nobody gets bored or feels overchallenged.

The level test takes place on the first day of class. We are going to discuss the results with you. In general, it is possible to change the course later. If required, intermediate groups can be built.

>> ACCOMMODATION & ARRIVAL

Arrival: Sunday before the course starts
Departure: Saturday after the end of the course

· Student hostels and shared flats: The rooms are furnished, kitchen and bathroom are to share with the other flatmates, linen is provided. The flats are visited by us regularly.

· Private households / host families: According to your preferences with breakfast or half-board.

· In the house of the teacher: By booking a language course with accomodation at a teacher's family you have the opportunity to practise your German throughout the whole day and so break away from thinking in your mother tongue. Daily common excursions (at the weekend also with the teacher's family) round up the programme.

· Hotel / guesthouse / apartment: Hotels of all price classes are near the school.
