Our German language school in Dresden is situated near the city centre and is only 15 minutes away from Dresden’s main railway station. You can reach it fast and easily with all means of transport.
Our lessons focus on the individual requests of our participants, and our teaching methods encourage practical, every day use of the learned language. Our teachers are native German speakers and specialized in teaching German as a foreign language. We teach German with modern and communicative methods based on real dialogues.
During class and leisure time you can expect skits, simulations, games, cultural and German studies, projects, excursions, sightseeing tours, and social activities to help you learn Geman in a funny, effective, and useful way.

Dresden, also lovingly called the “Florence on the Elbe”, is much more than a living museum. It is a modern city, the greatest European centre of microelectronics that still maintains its aura of a former royal residence. Dresden is a large city with a small town feel. It is one Germany’s greenest cities and it is the state capital of the German state Sachsen and the seat of the state government.
It is and always has been a centre of Protestantism. The nearly restored Frauenkirche is a symbol of this tradition made of stone. However, here are many other important churches in Dresden of various denominations, ranging from the Catholic Royal church, a magnificent cathedral, to the long and rich tradition of the Kreuzkirche.
Dresden is a friendly city and has much to offer to all age groups. In Dresden, you will have all the advantages of a large, modern European town. Art fans will find traditional and modern masterpieces of architecture in Dresden.

A visit to one of the numerous museums featuring worldwide, unique collections and exhibitions is always worthwhile. The countless palaces, castles, monuments, gardens are also worth seeing. From watching an opera in one of the most renowned opera houses of the world, the Semperoper, to hearing a modern band play in a local bar music enthusiasts will find any and every genre of music to suit their taste.
Dresden also has an ancient theatre tradition and offers an extensive palette from modern pieces to classic works. Dresden’s nightlife also has something to offer for all tastes. From the cosmopolitan quarter of Dresden - Neustadt with its numerous trendy bars, street cafes, and international restaurants to discotheques, night clubs, small galleries, theatres etc. around the old parts of town, no one will be bored. There are also more than 700 restaurants, pubs, bars, subculture organisations, and gourmet restaurants to choose from.
Our learning program includes sightseeing tours, participation in current events and organizations, strolls in the town, as well as meetings with different townspeople. Dresden has an extensive array of activities to offer for all kinds of interests.

Guest family This accommodation option means that you will live with a family where you are treated as a family member. The advantage of this is that you constantly get to practice speaking German. You also get to know German culture, lifestyle and hospitality first hand. Staying with a host family includes: Single or double room, common use of kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, TV, balcony, terrace or garden, breakfast, half or full board.
Shared flats 1 (with Germans) You live together with other mostly German students in a common apartment. This kind of lodging is very popular among students. It guarantees constant practise speaking German. As a student you will live among equals. Here you learn first hand about life and culture of German students. Staying with a Shared Student Apartment includes: Single or double room, common apartment with two to four other students, furnished, central heating, toilet, bath / shower, common use of kitchen and bathroom, in most situations: washing machine, TV, telephone, internet.
Shared flats 2 (with other students) We also offer completely furnished apartments only for the use of participants of our school of German in Dresden. This way you have the possibility to combine learning and living . We offer: Single or double room, normally you live together with two to four other school participants, on request only women or men roommates, furnished, central heating, toilet, bath / shower, common use of kitchen and bathroom, in most situations: washing machine, TV, telephone.
