 In Berlin you can choose between two language schools:
Berlin 1 (Mitte, centre): The language school belongs to the best and most known language schools of Germany. It is located in the citys "Mitte" district, right in the heart of Germanys national capital: for example, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, Humboldt-University, the Museum Island – you can reach many of our citys sights on foot in just a few minutes.
The language school in Berlin Mitte is a licensed TestDaF center. Our bright, friendly classrooms, a modern media resource center, free Internet access, a recreation room with a football table and vending machines for drinks and snacks, a varied program of leisure activities, and especially our experienced and enthusiastic instructors, guarantee that the time you spend learning and experiencing the German language will be time well spent.
Berlin 2 (Prenzlauer Berg): Our german language school in Berlin exists since 1983. It is a medium-sized, personally directed language school in the middle of the Prenzlauer Berg.
Our friendly and qualified team of teachers and small groups with a maximum of 10 students make it possible for you to improve your German quickly and effectively in a relaxed and communicative environment, with other students from around the world.

Berlin and freetime activities

 Berlin – that means 3.4 million inhabitants, 170 museums, 300 galleries, castles, churches, countless parks, operas, theaters, movie theaters, clubs, bars & cafés. The visitor can quickly lose track of things. But it is precisely this diversity that makes Berlin so unique; it is also this diversity that we want to discover and experience along with our guests!
Come with us as we search for clues, plunge into history and then succumb to the charm, the modern-day charisma, of this constantly evolving city.
Our schools organize a varied program of leisure activities for our course participants. On our personally guided walking tours of the city, for instance, you can relive Berlins history, or else join us for an interesting guided tour of one of the many museums the city has to offer.
For us, though, leisure time means more than history, art and culture; after all, our fascinating city also has a bevy of bars, cafés and bars to choose from.
Come with us and discover the different districts and faces of this multicultural metropolis. Every Friday, for instance, we invite our guests to join us at the "regulars table" (Berlin Mitte)]. Here, you will have an opportunity to explore Berlins nightlife, comparing notes with other students about new impressions and experiences – and practicing your newly acquired German skills in the process.
Our leisure program offers highlight for athletically inclined course participants, too: Whether we are learning salsa dancing to enchanting South American rhythms, climbing together, playing badminton or going bowling, we always provide for a familiar and friendly atmosphere.
On the weekend, we schedule trips to Potsdam and to other sights all around Berlin. If several course participants are interested, we even arrange to travel to Hamburg, Dresden or to Weimar.
With our leisure program, we want to bring the different facets of Berlin closer, giving you the opportunity to get to know fellow students outside the classroom setting, to make new friends, to discover different cultures and ways of life, and, even though home is far away, to feel at home here with us.
Experience Berlin through us and, in addition to our effective German language courses, you are automatically enroled on a cultural programme which includes seminars on history, architecture, art and other relevant topics here in the German capital. Together we´ll visit Berlin´s well-known (and some not so well-known) attractions, attend cultural events, and enjoy a few surprises we have planned as well!
 In Berlin you have the choice between private lodgings (host family or a shared apartment), a youth hostel and an apartment.
We select all of the lodgings personally, with you in mind – and with great care. Since our lodgings are conveniently located, our schools can conveniently be reached from all parts of the city by public transportation.
Host Family (Berlin 1)
You will be housed in an apartment or in a house with a yard with a family, a couple or with a single mother and her child. Your hosts are residents of Berlin who happily rent their furnished rooms regularly to our course participants from all over the world. The guest rooms can be reserved with breakfast or half-board. During your stay, you will have ample opportunity to speak German with your hosts, and to get to know the German way of life.

Shared Apartment (Berlin 1 and 2)
In a shared-apartment arrangement, you will be provided with a furnished room of your own. You will share the kitchen and bathroom with your fellow residents and prepare your own meals. Your hosts are working singles, housewives or students and are between 25 and 60 years of age. In a shared apartment, you will have contact with Berlin residents and an opportunity to speak German, and yet you can move about freely and independently and may come and go as you wish.

Youth Hostel (Berlin 1)
In a youth hostel, single rooms, each with its own shower/WC are available, as are single rooms with shower/WC located in the hallway (common showers). Some youth hostels offer a shared kitchen along with a washing machine. Since youth hostels are frequently fully booked during the peak season, we kindly request that you make your reservation/registration early.
